Last Annual Summer Picnic at Karen's

Yes, it's coming up for that time again - the annual picnic at Karen's studio in Belleville.  This will be her last one, and it promises to be a wonderful time!

It's billed as: .a day of relaxing, visiting, hooking and shopping ……

Loretta Moore from Westport will bring wonderful ‘antique‘ style wool, textures and muted colours for hooking ...and lots of kits!

Carol Shewan from Westport has wool, kits and patterns.

Gudrun Heiss from Picton with wonderful “Briggs and Little“wool to put the finishing touches on your work

Visit with Joyce

We headed to Joyce's place yesterday after hooking for a great time of noshing, chitchatting and hooking!  The weather wasn't overly cooperative, tho at least it didn't rain.  We had folks hooking, quilting, knitting and embroidering.  Here are a few photos:

Ring Strip Sorters

Hello!  I promised way back in May that I would post this, and am just getting to it now!

At our last meeting, Kitty told us about an interesting method to wrangle organize strips for rug hooking.  She got it from Cindi Gay's website, and here's a video of her explaining it.

She uses those sleeves we get from a local florist and binder rings....very ingenious!
