My oriental is completed! I know it is not whipped but I made an exception as I was visiting Dorthea as she is not feeling well and thought she would like to see it, also Jennifer has been asking for a photo............it will get whipped!!! Just wish I could figure out how to rotate the photo, YIKES! I know Jennifer would know how to do it in a second!!! Oh well I"ll learn some day, for now you just have to turn your head:)

Feb 9, 2017: Today the Thursday group had lots to admire, as several folks finished rugs, and others were being brought in for the exhibit at the Art Gallery next month. Here's just a small sample of the items on display:
Destined for the AGN exhibit, this one dates from the 1920's and appears to be made with yarn - a gorgeous inch-mat. |
Greg caught a whopper! He made a fish-shape frame from wire, stretched burlap on it, and then hooked a fish. |

Nov 29, 2016: This just in from Nancy Crapper: This a design of my own, worked on in a Borders Course with Wendi Scott-Davis last summer at Loyalist. It was an interesting course with a fabulous instructor!Pam Duncan mounted it on a board for me, so it hangs nicely on the wall. Different from my usual, but fun!
